Malzazta [mal-zahz-tah] is an important religious and leader figure in Zevestivan Faith.
Etymology[]
Malzazta seems to have no official meaning, though the name could be a play on the words "Malk" and "Zazata" meaning "Light of Peace."
Characteristics[]
Malzazta is often portrayed with a luscious dark red Kobral gown, and dark red Zardu Belt. She is always depicted as blind, her eyes covered by her crown's drapes.
Role in Zevestivan Faith[]
Malzazta was the first Matriarch of the Covenant of Velothi which she founded with Azalyn and the divine figure Kazaryl. As Matriarch she set out to spread her faith to the Zevestivan people. Malzazta married an unspecified husband and gave birth to her daughter Zolthyia, who became the second Matriarch. Upon Malzazta's death she was venerated as a Saint.
